Title: Influencers Gone Wild – Is Fitness Content Becoming Harmful?
Post by: douglasrozek on Nov 24, 2025, 10:54 AM
The fitness influencer space has exploded, but a lot of people say it's becoming toxic. We see creators promoting extreme diets, unrealistic workout results, and "quick fix" body transformations. Do you think fitness influencers are pushing harmful expectations onto their audiences?

Many followers feel pressured to look a certain way, even if influencers themselves are using editing apps, lighting tricks, or enhancements. Some creators promote supplements they don't actually use, while others sell training plans that aren't personalized.

I'm curious how others feel about this. Are fitness influencers genuinely helping people become healthier—or creating more insecurity and confusion?
